Bangladesh in sight of victory January 09, 2005 18:13 IST Paceman Tapash Baisya took two wickets to put Bangladesh in sight of their first Test win at the close of the fourth day of the first Test against Zimbabwe on Sunday. Zimbabwe, chasing 381 to win, were 46 for three in their second innings with a day's play remaining. Baisya removed Barney Rogers for a duck, when he was caught by substitute fielder Manjural Islam Rana, and then trapped Vusimuzi Sibanda lbw also for nought. Stuart Matsikenyeri was later bowled by spinner Enamul Haque Junior for 20. Bangladesh, seeking their first win in their 35th Test, had earlier stretched their lead after declaring their second innings on 204 for nine with Habibul Bashar topscoring with 55 and Elton Chigumbura taking five for 54. In the morning session, Zimbabwe lost their final two wickets for the addition of just four runs to finish on 312 all out in their first innings after Bangladesh had made 488. Zimbabwe are playing their first Test since they were suspended by the International Cricket Council last June for fielding a weakened team after a dispute between their board and several leading white players.
