Dravid leads ICC Test Player Rankings

March 21, 2005 16:06 IST

Rahul Dravid's twin centuries for India against Pakistan in the Kolkata Test have moved him to the top of the LG ICC Test Rankings, reclaiming the position of leading Test batsman from South African Jacques Kallis. Dravid now has 892 points, the highest of his career, compared to Kallis on 886.

Anil Kumble's success in the match, in which took 10 wickets, has moved him up a place into fourth on the Test bowler rankings, moving ahead of the injured Pakistan pace spearhead Shoaib Akhtar.

Inzamam-ul-Haq is the highest rated Pakistan batsman at 14th, while Danish Kaneria holds on to 13th place in the bowling after his six wickets in the game.

These rankings do not include the ongoing Test match in Wellington between New Zealand and Australia.
