Website spews venom on Ganguly October 24, 2005 16:10 IST The tirade against deposed Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly got a new dimension with a website lampooning him for his cricketing abilities and attitude. Ever since India's coach Greg Chappell's damning e-mail to BCCI, Sourav baiters have increased in number. The latest in the list being a website pouring venom on the southpaw and urging others to join the malicious campaign.
The site, reportedly launched on October 8, claims to have some 61,000 hits already and 400 users till now. Apart from articles condemning Sourav, the website contains some stale jokes and states that its mission is three-fold: ''Get rid of Ganguly as captain; Make sure he never regains the crown; Make sure his place in the team is based purely on his batting performance.''
