India elect to bat against Pakistan

Indian captain Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to bat in the first one-day international against Pakistan at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif were once again left out of the team which had three changes from the side that played England in the last match at Indore.

Wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was back in the team after being rested for the last game, while a fit again Harbhajan Singh came in place of pacer V R V Singh.

Mumbai pacer Ajit Agarkar in place of R P Singh was the other change.

Teams:

India: Rahul Dravid (captain), Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Venugopala Rao, Irfan Pathan, S Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh, Ajit Agarkar and Ramesh Powar.

Pakistan: Inzamam-ul Haq (captain), Imran Farhat, Shoaib Malik, Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Kamran Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Asif, Rao Iftikhar Anjum and Rana Naved-ul Hasan.

Umpires: Rudi Koertzen and Brian Jerling, TV Umpire: Tyron Wijewardena

Match Referee: Roshan Mahanama.
