Tamil Nadu declare at 500 for 8 December 18, 2006 21:48 IST Saurashtra were 70 without loss in their first innings, in reply to Tamil Nadu's mammoth 500 for 8 declared, in the Elite Super League Ranji Trophy match at the Madhavrao Scindia ground in Rajkot on Monday. At stumps on day 2, Kanaiya Vaghela and Sagar Jogiyani were unbeaten on 21 (3X4) and 44 (8x4) runs respectively. Tamil Nadu, who resumed their first innings at the overnight score of 293 for 3, declared at 500 for 8 wickets shortly before tea break.
