Injured Sehwag to miss third ODI

In a major blow to India's chances, opener Virender Sehwag has been declared unfit to play in the third one-day international against Pakistan in Lahore on Monday.

Sehwag, who is suffering from a shoulder injury, will be replaced by opener Gautam Gambhir.

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is suffering from a finger injury, is also likely to miss out.

Sehwag developed the problem in his left shoulder during his half century in the second one-dayer at Rawalpindi on Saturday.

Sehwag smashed 22 runs in an over off Rana Naved-ul-Hasan but clutched his left shoulder after hitting a patented slash over point. The batsman needed medical attention and was seen rubbing the injured area throughout his innings of 67.

There is also some speculation that Sehwag might return home but it could not be confirmed.
