Ganguly to play in Gwalior

February 27, 2006 11:29 IST

In a late decision on Sunday, Sourav Ganguly decided to play the second match of Deodhar Trophy at Gwalior.

He had earlier excused himself from the first two matches of the tournament for personal reasons.

But in a late night communique he wrote to Cricket Association of Bengal about the change of mind and that he will appear for East Zone against their second tie against West on Tuesday. He will head for Gwalior on Monday.

East Zone lost the first match against South by three wickets in a low-scoring affair.
