Mithali to lead India eves in England June 09, 2006 18:11 IST Mithali Raj will lead the Indian women's cricket team that will tour Ireland and England next month. The team will play two one-day internationals in Ireland before moving to England to take on the hosts in two Tests, three one-dayers and a Twenty20 match. The tour begins on July 25 and ends September 2. Lord's will host one of the Tests. It will be the first time that a women's team will play a match at the historic ground. The preparatory camp for the tour will be held at Mysore from June 24 to July 17, a statement from the Women's Cricket Association of India said. India last played England at home last year. They won the one-day series while the one-off Test ended in a draw. Team: Mithali Raj (capt), Jhulan Goswami (vice-capt), Nooshin Al Khadeer, Anjum Chopra, Rumeli Dhar, Karuna Jain, Hemlata Kala, Monica Sumra, Reema Malhotra, Sulakshana Naik, Priti Dimri, Nidhi Buley, Amita Sharma, Asha Rawat.
