Sehwag cleared to bat March 21, 2006 22:58 IST Hard-hitting opener Virender Sehwag, whose services are crucial to India's fate in the third Test in Mumbai, will come out to bat on Wednesday after being given the go-ahead by the doctors. Back spasm forced Sehwag out of the ground for virtually the entire fourth day as well as major part of the England's second innings on Monday.
Under the rules, Sehwag will come out to bat only after India loses five wickets tomorrow. The hosts have been set a daunting task of scoring 313 runs for a win in the third and final Test against England. India had clipped 18 runs off the target while losing one wicket at close on day four.
