India win toss, elect to field

India captain Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to field in the fifth and final one-day international against the West Indies in Port of Spain on Sunday.

India rested Irfan Pathan and Ramesh Powar and brought in Robin Uthappa and Munaf Patel in their place for the inconsequential match.

The West Indies, who have an unassailable 3-1 lead, made four changes to the team that won the previous game at the same venue by six wickets.

Marlon Samuels, Carlton Baugh Jr., Ian Bradshaw and Fidel Edwards made way for Sewnarine Chattergoon, Jerome Taylor, Denesh Ramdin and Dave Mohammed.

Teams:

India: Rahul Dravid (capt), Robin Uthappa, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ajit Agarkar, Harbhajan Singh, S Sreesanth and Munaf Patel.

West Indies: Brian Lara (capt), Chris Gayle, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Wavell Hinds, Dwayne Smith, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Corey Collymore, Jerome Taylor and Dave Mohammed.

Umpires: Steve Bucknor (West Indies) and Simon Taufel (Australia)

Third umpire: Billy Doctrove (West Indies)

Match Referee: Chris Broad (England).
