Bengal pacer Ranadeb Bose won the Ceat Domestic 'Cricketer of the Year' award while his teammate and middle order batsman Manoj Tewari was adjudged 'Batsman of the Year'.

Young Tamil Nadu off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was named 'Bowler of the Year'.

Rajinder Goel, the Haryana left-arm spinner of yesteryear, who was unlucky not to play Test cricket as his career coincided with that of the great Bishen Singh Bedi, was given the Lifetime Achievement award.

The 27-year-old gangling pony-tailed Bose has to his credit 57 wickets in eight matches at a superb average of 14.22, with best bowling figures of 7 for 25.

Bose, who had two 10-wicket hauls, logged 67 points, 23 clear of Tamil Nadu's 20-year-old off-break bowler Ravichandran Ashwin.

Tewari, like Bose a key player for Ranji Trophy runners-up Bengal, was the season's leading batsman in domestic cricket, aggregating 796 runs from seven matches (10 innings) at a superb average of 110.

The 21-year-old, scored a classy 94 in the second innings of the Ranji Trophy final against Mumbai, narrowly beat back a strong challenge from Bangalore batsman Robin Uthappa for the top batsman's prize by logging 40 points. The Bangalore youngster logged 39.
