Rain delays start of India-Pak ODI July 03, 2007 15:19 IST Rain and wet outfield conditions have delayed the start of the one-off limited overs match between India and Pakistan in Glasgow on Tuesday. Umpires will carry out an inspection of the Clyedesdale Cricket Ground at 2 pm local time (6.30 pm IST) as it is still raining in Glasgow. The one-off match has been organised to raise funds for Prince Charles charity. India had a successful tour of Bangladesh, winning both the ODIs and Tests comfortably, and now have the momentum going into the match after a 2-1 series win over South Africa in the one-dayers in Ireland. Pakistan, led by 25-year-old Shoaib Malik [Images], who succeeded Inzamam-ul Haq, crushed Sri Lanka [Images] 2-0 in the Abu Dhabi one-day series in May. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
