Second Bangladesh board official resigns July 24, 2007 21:11 IST Bangladesh Cricket Board general secretary Mahbub Anam resigned on Tuesday following vice president Gazi Golam Dastagir who quit last week. "They resigned as Bangladesh's interim government is eager to depoliticise the cricket board," BCB President Abdul Aziz told Reuters. Anam and Dastagir were linked to major political parties in the country and so had to resign, Aziz said without giving further details. Another BCB official said more executives of the board were likely to quit soon.
