India's highest successful fourth innings chases

Rajneesh Gupta | November 26, 2007

India beat Pakistan by six wickets in the first Test at the Ferozeshah Kotla on Monday to a take a 1-0 lead in the three match series.

The Delhi Test provided only the sixth instance of India winning a Test after chasing a fourth innings target of 200 runs or more.

Interestingly this is only the second such instance on Indian soil.

The earlier one was about 43 years back.
