Gilchrist (6 dismissals) had first achieved the feat against India in Baroda on 11.10.2007. # Gilchrist has now effected 5 or more dismissals in an innings 11 times, extending his world record. # Irfan Pathan [Images] (4/41) recorded his best bowling performance against Australia, eclipsing his three for 51 at Sydney Cricket Ground on January 22, 2004. # Pathan's figures are the best by an Indian bowler against Australia at Adelaide. His figures are also the best by an Indian medium-pacer at Adelaide, surpassing Kapil Dev's [Images] 4 for 54 against West Indies [Images] on December 14, 1991. # Pathan became the seventh Indian bowler to capture 4 or more wickets in an innings against Australia in Australia, joining Kapil Dev, Ravi Shastri, Ajit Agarkar [Images], Javagal Srinath, L Balaji and Ishant Sharma. # With four dismissals (3 ct+ 1 st), Mahendra Singh Dhoni [Images] became the first Indian wicketkeeper to effect four or more dismissals in an innings twice against Australia.
