A Cricket Australia [Images] (CA) Code of Conduct Commission hearing upheld a charge against Symonds after he pleaded guilty for calling McCullum a "lump of s**t" during a radio interview last week. At the CA hearing in Melbourne, Code of Conduct Senior Commissioner Gordon Lewis found the controversial all-rounder guilty of breaching CA Code of Behaviour Rule 9 relating to detrimental public comment and issued a fine as penalty for the breach. However, Symonds escaped a suspension after CA treated him as a first time offender of breach of Code of Behaviour. The Queenslander is expected to make a public statement later on Thursday.
