Jet Airways launches direct flights to Muscat, Doha

Jet Airways [Get Quote] on Wednesday launched its daily direct flight service to Muscat and Doha from Kozhikode, Kerala.

Simultaneously, Jet has launched flights from Kochi to Muscat and from Mumbai to Doha, it said in a statement.

Jet flies between Kochi-Kuwait-Kochi, Kochi-Bahrain-Kochi, Mumbai-Bahrain-Mumbai and Delhi-Kuwait-Delhi sectors after the Central government allowed Jet to fly Gulf last year. Jet operates Boeing 737-800 aircraft in the India-Gulf sector, it added.

Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 76 aircraft, which includes 8 Boeing 777-300 ER aircrafts, 7 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 52 classic and next generation Boeing 737-400 aircraft and 9 modern ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft. It operates over 365 flights daily.
