Bruce Lee is still king!

rediff Entertainment Bureau | February 23, 2005 15:51 IST

Kung-fu is still the king's domain. Bruce Lee's film Enter The Dragon has, predictably, been voted the greatest martial arts movie ever.

Released in 1973, the film brought the captivating kung fu ballet to the forefront of martial arts films. The same year, Lee died at the age of 32.

Two more of the martial arts legend's films, The Way Of The Dragon and Fists Of Fury, are among the top ten films in an Argos poll.

The rest of the high-flying violent films on the list are:
2. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
3. The Way Of The Dragon (1972)
4. Kill Bill Vol 1 (2003)
5. The Shaolin Temple (1979)
6. Fists Of Fury (1971)
7. Hero (2002)
8. Drunken Master (1978)
9. Iron Monkey (1973)
10. Magnificent Butcher (1987)
