Indian shows go to the Emmys! Srabanti Chakrabarti | July 28, 2006 15:35 IST If Aishwarya Rai created a ripple with her forgettable designer outfits at the But, don't jump to conclusions -- unfortunately they are not travelling to the Big Apple. They will be choosing from right here which Indian serials should enter this prestigious competition. Hosted by Anil Wanvari, founder of the Indian Telly Awards, the 20-member jury features Smriti Z Iraani, Archana Puran Singh, Anuradha Prasad, Deeya Singh and Mandira Bedi. Archana Puran Singh says this is not her first time, "I was in the jury last year as well. I was one of the jury members responsible for judging drama shows from the West. I got a call from Los Angles and they sent me tapes of the series which I had to watch and give my feedback on." This year, she says, it will be different. "The Emmy authorities have set up an office in And which is her all time favourite comedy show over the years? "Friends," she replies. "Despite running for so long, it is still not repetitive or clich�d."
