Rumours about Madhuri Dixit making a comeback to films have been circulating for a while. Now finally, there seems to be confirmation that the actress is indeed going to star in a film.

"Madhuri will stage a comeback in a film directed by Anil Mehta under the banner of Yash Raj films," Yash Chopra confirmed. 

The film shoot will start in first week of January 2007, he added.

Chopra, however, refrained from divulging further details, including the film's name.

Madhuri, who gave several hit films, married a US-based doctor Sriram Nene, and is a mother of two children.
