It's not everyday that you see Aamir Khan [Images] rehearsing for a cricket match in your local mall!
Shoppers at Infiniti Mall, Andheri in suburban Mumbai, were suprised to see the actor with bat in hand, preparing for the final match on July 14, at the same venue.
The cricket match -- Lagaan IX vs Fans -- is being organised by Aamir Khan Productions along with Excel Home Videos and Landmark stores, to celebrate the successful launch of the Lagaan [Images] DVDs.
"We are looking forward to the match and to enjoy ourselves thoroughly playing with fans from across the country," Aamir stated.
Lagaan IX will feature all the actors who were part of the team in the film while the Fans team will feature people of all ages, including women.
The limited over match -- scheduled to start at 2 pm -- will be played inside the mall, barricaded by nets, with an area for people to watch the game.
