Ganesh and Rekha in Hudugaata

Before Mungaru Male, Kannada actor Ganesh was popularly known for his show Comedy Time, a popular daily programme for Udaya TV.

Post Mungaru Male (the film was the biggest grosser in the history of Kannada cinema), the actor has been bestowed with a golden tag. He's become so popular that his films are always sold out.

Now, the actor will be seen in his next film Hudugaata, which is releasing on June 1.

But, success does not seem to have gone to the actor's head. Ever-smiling, the actor says, "Hudugaata is a hundred percent fun film. It is designed to entertain the audience for 150 minutes and though there is no logic, there magic in the humour."

Ganesh teams up with Rekha [Images] in the film. The pair acted together in Chellaata earlier.

Incidently, it was Chellaata which launched Ganesh as a hero. The film completed a hundred day run in a Bangalore theatre. Rekha was already an established star at that time.

The actress says working with Ganesh in a fun film like Hudugaata has been a memorable experience for her. "Before starting to work for Hudugaata, I had finished a serious emotional film by Sai Prakash. I had to weep throughout the film. Hudugaata, therefore was a welcome change."

Hudugaata is directed by Sanjay. He earlier assisted well-known director S Narayan.

Jassie Gift, the sensational music director of the Malayalam film Four the people is the music composer of the film.
