In an interview to the Hindustan Times, the latest Kapoor lad to make a foray into Bollywood said he had a crush on Nandita Mahtani and that mother Neetu Singh knew about it.

"While I was growing up, I was infatuated with her. I found her beautiful, simple and warm...so unlike the socialite she is made out to be," Ranbir told HT.

"We went out for dinners, it was nothing serious," he added.

Nandita is the ex-wife of Sanjay Kapur, the present husband of actress Karishma Kapoor [Images].

Nandita is a well known designer and many Bollywood personalities have walked the ramp wearing her clothes. At present, she is seen on and off with actor Dino Morea [Images].
