Salman looking for new talent

Gullu Gupshup | April 09, 2008 15:52 IST

Salman Khan

Salman Khan, the man of many talents, has a knack of spotting, er, talent.

The actor is on a lookout for a new heroine for his latest film Veer, which is set for release next year.

Salman has written the story and screenplay of the period film. The idea of re-making Chandramukhi, the 1990s film starring Sridevi, was also his.

Salman, the son of veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan, has never tried his hand at writing. But has often boasted that he maintained his superstar status for the years because he knows how to differentiate between a good and bad script.

"When I read a script, I know what the audience will love and what they will reject. This is the only reason behind my long and successful career," Salman had said in one of his interviews to rediff.com.
