Is Himesh Reshammiya's [Images] upcoming film, Kajra Re, a remake of Sadak?

Well, a little birdie informed that the film bears a resemblance to the Pooja Bhatt-Sanjay Dutt starrer.

Interestingly, the new film is being directed by Pooja Bhatt [Images]. Ashutosh Rana [Images] will play the eunuch's role, originally played by Saadashiv Amrapurkar.

Apparently, Pooja was very impressed by Ashutosh's performance in Shabnam Mausi, a film based on the real life story of an eunuch who became a minister.

Earlier, too, Pooja starred in a touching film called Tamanna, where Paresh Rawal [Images] played a eunuch called Tiku. This film was based on a real life story as well.
