Dear Veerappan... from Ramadoss

PMK leader Ramadoss has addressed a personal letter to forest brigand Veerappan, pleading for the early release of hostage Rajakumar.

He told reporters in Tiruchirapalli on Tuesday that he had sent a letter to Veerappan through emissary Sukumaran. He had referred to issues like the release of Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act, which he felt would be 'taken care of suitably'.

Ramadoss said he had consulted Union Minister George Fernades and Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna, but ''the Tamil Nadu chief minister had not taken him into confidence''.
