The Delhi police claimed to have arrested a Pakistani national on suspicion of being a spy.

Ghulam Mustafa Qureshi was picked up from a cyber café in Lakshmi Nagar in the trans-Yamuna area on Sunday around 1600 IST.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Ashok Chand told rediff.com that Qureshi had entered India via Bangladesh about three weeks ago and had been putting up in a jhuggi jhopdi colony in Usmanpura, east Delhi.

He was reportedly trained by the Pakistani army in subversive activities and spying.

Police claim to have seized incriminating documents from him and is expected to produce him before a court on Monday.
