The Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, an autonomous institute under the Union ministry of information and broadcasting, invites applications for admission to the following courses starting from July 12, 2004.

Two/Three Years Diploma Course in Film and Television in the following disciplines:

Audiography 3 years Bachelor's Degree
With Physics as a subject at 10+2 level.

One Year Certificate Course in Television in the following disciplines:
Direction 1 year Bachelor's Degree 8
Videography/
Electronic
Cinematography
1 year Bachelor's Degree 8
Video Editing 1 year Bachelor's Degree 8
Audiography
And TV Engineering
1 year Bachelor's Degree With Physics as a subject at 10+2 level. 8

 

Two seats in each course are reserved for foreign students/NRIs

Seats are also reserved for SC/ST candidates as per government policy of reservations.

Admission test: The entrance examination will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2004 at the following centres: Allahabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram.

How to apply: Prospectus containing application form and other details may be obtained on request along with a demand draft of Rs 500 drawn on any of the branches of the State Bank of India or Indian Bank in favour of 'Accounts Officer, Film and Television Institute of India,' payable at Pune and a self addressed stamped envelope of 23 cm x 30 cm with postage of Rs 50. Requests for prospectus will be entertained only after March 3, 2004. Prospectus may also be obtained personally from the Tutorial Section, Film and Television Institute of India after March 3, 2004.
