Incarcerated Rashtriya Janata Dal member of Parliament Pappu Yadav is at it again.

The Beur jail staff have complained that he had threatened to eliminate them for not allowing him to meet visitors.

Jail sources said Jailor Bhola Singh and a few other staff had sent a complaint to the prison department. The complaint has been forwarded to the state home commissioner for probe and necessary action, the sources said.

They said the jail staff had also asked Beur Jail Superintendent Dilip Kumar Singh to send his report immediately for initiating legal action against Yadav.

Pappu Yadav had drawn the wrath of the apex court for indulging in unlawful activities from behind the bars.

The Central Bureau of Investigation, in an affidavit on Tuesday, had favoured shifting Yadav out of Bihar. It had suggested five jails in Tamil Nadu and Gujarat, from where he could be tried through video-conferencing.

The police had recently seized a cell phone from Pappu Yadav during raids on Beur jail, which were conducted as per a directive of the Patna high court.

Incensed over widespread use of cell phones by jailed criminals to remain in touch with the outside world, the Supreme Court had on Tuesday called upon mobile service providers to install jamming devices in jails across the country.
