Paswan complains of chest pain, admitted to hospital

Lok Janshakti Party chief and Union Steel Minister Ramvilas Paswan was admitted to a private hospital in Patna on Saturday morning after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness.

Paswan was taken from a hotel room to cardiologist Dr A K Thakur's clinic early in the morning. Reports said he is kep under observation in the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit.

There is no official word yet on his condition.

Sources close to Paswan told rediff.com that he was not feeling well since Friday night.

Paswan has been in Patna past two days taking part in public events.

All his engagements for Saturday and Sunday have been now cancelled.

A large numbers of LJP workers and leaders gathered outside the hospital as the news spread in Patna.
