Is PM's US visit History or a sellout?
July 19, 2005

Many insist that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's historic visit to the United States (complete coverage) will mark a new chapter in bilateral relations. But others, particularly the Leftists, say it amounts to a 'sellout' by India. They say the visit is more show than substance. India is setting itself up to become a 'client state' of the US, they say. Some point out that we are unequal partners Tell us what you think.
