The Lok Sabha approved the imposition of President's rule in Bihar on Saturday.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal, which lost power in the state in the recently concluded elections, staged a walkout over the decision.
Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, however, stressed the Centre was keen to see a government in the state soon.
RJD chief and Railway Minister Lalu Yadav denied that he was putting pressure on the Centre to get his men as advisors to the Bihar governor.
Bihar was brought under President's rule as no party or formation could show the numbers to form a stable government.
Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar flayed the government decision to impose central rule in Bihar on Saturday and said it "should not continue beyond six months as there would be a serious reaction".
Reacting to Nitish Kumar's tirade against the ruling United Progressive Alliance, kingmaker Ramvilas Paswan of the Lok Janshakti Party said "if you leave and come along, I will form the government. But are you ready?"
