Launching a frontal attack on Lok Janshakti Party President Ramvilas Paswan for allegedly blocking formation of an 'anti-Lalu' government in Bihar, Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary Arun Jaitley said on Saturday by doing so the LJP leader had harmed not only his party but the entire state.

The Congress and LJP candidates had registered victory against Rashtriya Janata Dal in the February assembly polls and it was unfortunate that the two parties had thrust yet another poll on the state, he told PTI.

While charges of corruption, misgovernance and anarchy have already been levelled against RJD, the 'immorality' of the RJD-Congress combine stood exposed by the 'blatant misuse' of the office of the governor by them to prevent NDA leader Nitish Kumar from forming the government.

Jaitley said there was no place for a debate or argument on the issue of dissolution of the state Assembly, which was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.

"The Centre has become synonymous with immorality and injustice," he said.

Jaitley claimed that the assembly was dissolved though Kumar, who as the NDA chief ministerial candidate, had mustered support of 135 MLAs to form the government.
