Bharti Yadav, a key witness in the Nitish Katara murder case and the sister of the prime accused Vikas Yadav, on Tuesday collected her passport and visa from the Delhi court where they were deposited.

Additional Sessions Judge Ravinder Kaur, the judge who presided over Bharti's in-camera deposition, released the documents.

Bharti, the daughter of controversial Uttar Pradesh politician D P Yadav, had flown in from United Kingdom to record her testimony.

Both the sides claimed that her deposition benefited them.

Along with Vikas Yadav, his cousin Vishal Yadav also is accused of murdering Nitish Katara.

Apart from the two accused, Bharti was the last person to have seen the victim alive.

In February 2002, Vikas and Vishal were seen taking Nitish away from a party that he was attending with Bharti.

Nitish's body was found in the outskirts of Delhi three days later.
