A Mumbai blast victim's widow Anju has threatened to immolate herself in front of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to protest against forcible capturing of her flat in an apartment building in Patna by a Janata Dal (United) leader G L Jamuar.

Anju's husband Krishna Kumar, a bank officer, who was killed in the Mumbai train blasts said that she has decided to immolate herself  before Nitish Kumar to protest against forcible occupation of her flat by a leader of ruling party JD(U).

"I will end my life if police fails to vacate my flat from  forcible occupation by a JD(U) leader" Anju told rediff.com on Sunday night in Patna.

She said her father had met Nitish Kumar in his much publicised janata darbar in this connection but nothing happened. "My father pleaded Nitish Kumar to help me and my two minor children," she said.

According to police sources , Anju's husband purchased a flat in Ramayan apartment in Exhibition road, a posh locality before he was killed in Mumbai blast. The flat was rented to Jamuar. But after his death, Jamuar stopped paying rent to her and refused to vacate the flat.

Anju said, "My late husband's bank authorities had asked her to vacate the official residence allotted to him. "I have no place to live except this flat but it was forcibly occupied by Jamuar" she said.

The Bihar state JD(U) president Lalan Singh  refused to acknowledge Jamuar as a JD(U) leader. However, opposition RJD, CPI, Congress leaders demanded immediate police action against JD(U) leader to help the widow.
