It was a day that Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker will like to forget.

Camilla lost her ground during her visit to a pharmaceutical institute in Mohali along with her husband Prince Charles on Tuesday.

Camilla charmed by Punjab's villages

As part of their week-long itinery, the royal couple visited the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institute, where they planted an Ashok tree sapling.

Camilla spoiled her trousers when mud slung off the ground, as she was planting the sapling, following a sudden jerk of water from the container.

Later, when the couple went to sign the visitor's book, Camilla fell as she began to take seat thinking there was a chair just behind her. However, Prince Charles reacted quickly and helped her to her feet. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and Kharar legislator Bir Devinder Singh were also standing nearby.
