15th SAARC summit to be held in Maldives

The 15th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation summit will be held in the Maldives, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Singh, who is he chairman of the 14th SAARC summit, made the announcement at its closing ceremony.

He said the decision to hold the next SAARC summit was taken unanimously by heads of states of the 8-member grouping.
