Amidst public protest over the suspension of chief justice Iftikhar M Chaudhry, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has said he will reveal facts to the nation behind the judicial crisis after a panel of judges hearing the case gives its decision.

Musharraf, who suspended Chaudhry in March for alleged misconduct and misuse of power, said he did nothing wrong and that he was a great supporter of an independent judiciary.

The situation would be clear after the decision of the Supreme Judicial Council hearing charges against Chaudhry, he said, addressing a public meeting in Sialkot in Punjab province.

Musharraf said after the SJC decision, he would reveal facts to the nation behind the judicial crisis.

The President claimed to have practically separated the judiciary from the executive and said that he spent 300 million dollars for the judiciary.

He said his government also spent huge funds for Bar Councils all over the country.
