A Delhi Court on Saturday sent two co-accused in the human trafficking case involving BJP MP Babubhai Katara to six days judicial custody.
Rajendra Kumar Gampa, private secretary of Katara and his associate Kiran Dhar were produced in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamini Lau on completion of their police custody.
The court, on being informed that no further interrogation of the accused was required, sent them to jail till May 4, the day when main accused Katara will be produced in the court.
The investigators produced a print-out of the data stored in the computers, which were allegedly used by the accused duo.
After having a look at the voluminous documents comprising print-outs of the computer data, the court said, "Most of the documents do not make any sense."
Police also produced copies of certain communications, recovered from the hard disk of the computer of accused, which were allegedly sent on the official letter heads of three MPs.
Earlier, on April 26, Kumar had admitted before the court that he had used about seven official letterheads of three MPs including that of Katara.
Kumar had said that besides Katara he had used seven to eight official letterheads of MPs Mitrasen Yadav and Ashok Rawat.
Katara was arrested at the IGI Airport here on April 18 while trying to take a woman Paramjeet Kaur and a 15-year-old boy to Toronto on his wife Shardaben and son Rajesh's passports respectively.
