The Pakistan Railway Ministry is in touch with its Indian counterpart following the blasts on the Delhi-Attari special train, which left 64 people dead.

Initially, Indian railway officials informed Islamabad that two Pakistani nationals were among the dead and eight others were injured, Pakistan Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said.

"We are in touch with the Indian authorities. After the initial details from the Indian side, we have not received any information," the Pakistan Railway Minister told state-run PTV.

Sixty-four people have been killed in suspected IED blasts in two coaches of Delhi-Attari special train for Lahore in Deewana in Panipat.
