Clear morning in Delhi

Delhi on Thursday woke up to a cold but clear morning with temperatures continued to shiver below normal.

'It was mainly clear sky but the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.3 degree Celsius, one notch below the normal at this point of time in the year,' Met department said.

The visibility in the capital was recorded at 1500 metre and the maximum temperature recorded in the last 24 hours was 19.4 degree Celsius, the weatherman said.

At the airport, air traffic was back to normal and there was no delay or cancellation of flights.

"The runway visibility was recorded at 3000 metre and was very much sufficient for all kinds of operation, there was no delay or cancellation of flight unlike the past days," airport sources said.

The minimum temperature during the day is expected to remain around 7 degree Celsius with mainly clear skies, whereas the humidity could be recorded a bit high above 90 per cent.
