Most Goa legislators, including the chief minister and the leader of the opposition, have planned their trip to New Delhi on Tuesday.

While Chief Minister Digamber Kamat was scheduled to leave by an early morning flight to "brief the high command about the happenings on the floor of the House", Parrikar will fly along with all the supporting legislators to seek an appointment with President Pratibha Patil.

Don't Miss: History repeats itself in Goa politics

"All Goa Democratic Alliance legislators will fly to Delhi at 3 pm," a GDA spokesman told PTI.

He said the GDA members will meet the President again and parade their strength briefing her how democracy was "butchered" in the Goa Assembly.

The GDA has also planned to move the Supreme Court, challenging the floor test conducted by chief minister in the assembly.

The Kamat government, which was plunged into minority after its alliance partner Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party withdrew support and resignation of its lady legislator Victoria Fernandes, survived the floor test.

The Opposition, however, has challenged the floor test, stating that the speaker had conducted it in an "incorrect way" and sought Governor S C Jamir's intervention in the matter.
