Chinese President Hu Jintao, who left for Germany on Wednesday to attend the outreach session of the G-8 Summit will also meet world leaders, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President George W Bush to discuss bilateral and international issues.
Hu, also general secretary of the ruling Communist Party of China, will attend the multilateral meeting of leaders of five developing countries -- India, Brazil, China, Mexico and South Africa on June 8.
Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai said Hu will enunciate China's views and suggestions on climate change and other global issues during the outreach session of the G-8 Summit.
Hu is scheduled to meet Dr Singh and review the bilateral relationship in the light of the 10-pronged strategy that was spelt out during the Chinese president's visit to India in November 2006.
The two leaders may discuss possible dates for Dr Singh's likely visit to China later this year.
Their discussion may also touch upon the boundary question and review the progress made by the two special representatives, who are tasked with finding a fair and mutually acceptable solution to the border dispute.
They may also review the trade and economic relationship, including the possibility of establishing a regional trade arrangement between the two Asian giants.
India-China bilateral trade has crossed $25 billion last year and in the first four months this year bilateral trade touched $11.4 billion, witnessing a 56 per cent rise.
