Slight intensity quake hits Delhi

A slight intensity earthquake shook parts of Delhi on Wednesday.

The quake, measuring 2.3 on the Richter Scale, was felt in many parts of the capital at 3.09 am, the Meteorological Department said.

The epicentre of the quake was near Mehrauli area of south Delhi.

The exact epicentre of the quake was located at 28.5 degrees north on the latitude and 77.1 degrees east on the longitude, the Met department said.
