Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Lal Kishenchand Advani will lead a delegation of members of Parliament to Nandigram to take stock of the situation so that the issue could be raised in the forthcoming Parliament session backed by first hand information.

Talking to rediff.com party vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that names of other members of the delegation will be decided later on Monday.

"Advaniji has decided to visit Nandigram so that he could visit the place after what happened in last couple of weeks and how innocent farmers were killed by the Communist Party of India-Marxist cadre. We feel the CPI-M stands for protected murderers," he said.

He condemned the Congress for remaining silent on the killings of the innocent people.
