Close on the heels of Friday's blasts in Uttar Pradesh, another email threatening a series of explosions, including an attack on the visiting Pakistani cricket team, is doing the rounds on Saturday.

Television channel India TV claimed to have received an email from guru_boys2000@yahoo.com on Saturday morning in which the message threatened the visiting Pakistani cricket team to withdraw from the ongoing test series.

The source and authenticity of the message were yet to be verified. "We will check the message once the television channel hands over the email," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar said.

Today's email also threatened that similar blasts will take place in Chennai, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Islamabad.

Various television channels had received an email on Friday which landed minutes after the first blast rocked Varanasi.

This email, sent from a Yahoo identity using a French domain, was traced back to a cyber cafe in east Delhi. The police are questioning the owner of the cyber café.

According to the sources, while the owner of the cyber cafe was not there when the mail was sent, the place had four people -- three locals and one outsider. Police are seeking the help of the locals to draw up the sketch of the outsider.

Meanwhile, India TV claimed in a press release that it had received a second e-mail threatening to blow up three
railway stations in Mumbai on Saturday night. Security was tightened at the three stations after the threat.
