Former model Geetanjali Nagpal, who was found living on the streets of Delhi on Monday, has been admitted to the local VIMHANS hospital. Nagpal, who is under the care of the Delhi Commission for Women, was admitted to VIMHANS on Monday night after taking permission from the Metropolitan Magistrate at Karkardooma court.

"She is supposed to present herself before the court on Wednesday, but it is unlikely that she would be able to do so given the state of her health. So the commission will seek more time for her appearance," said DCW chairperson Barkha Singh.

At the hospital, Geetanjali was diagnosed to be suffering from fear psychosis. The ex-model was found begging in Hauz Khas on Monday, and it was revealed by a television channel that her family had disowned her.

Thirty-two-year old Geetanjali was once a popular model and had walked the ramp for top designers.
