The Bhartiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate and leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani admitted that there were few errors in his book 'My Country My Life', which was re-launched by the party president Rajnath Singh along with a special website created by the party.

"When I saw the story about Satya Pal Dang in a national daily, I realised the mistake and I called him up and apologised to him for the mistake. Such mistakes should not have taken place but somehow it happened," Advani said.

Advani took a dig at the Congress party and said that though Congressmen talk about the ideals of Gandhiji, they remember another Gandhi when it comes to choosing between the two.

Those present in the auidence included BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Anant Kumar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, and Prakash Javadekar.

Advani, however, chose not to comment on the controversial Kandahar issue. However, Rajnath Singh chose to defend Advani on the issue, saying, "Will the Congress own up the responsibility of telling the then government in power that we can afford to sacrifice 160 odd passengers and crew members. None of our relatives were involved".

Advani also attacked the Prime Minister over the sharp increase in the prices of wheat. rice, pulses, edible oil and other essential commodities.

"The common people are today fondly recalling the Vajpayee government's success in keeping prices under check," Advani said.
