The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday flayed Dr Farooq Abdullah, who claimed that the media had distorted his son Omar Abdullah's comments on the Amarnath yatra issue.

"Where is the question of distorting a statement which is part of the Lok Sabha proceedings and was watched by millions of people all over the country," Prakash Javadekar, party spokesman, asked at a press conference in New Delhi.

The BJP ridiculed Uma Bharti for bringing out a
fake CD, involving party General Secretary Sanjay Joshi.

"This is a fake CD as it was shot a day after the vote of confidence. She has now sent a clarification that she did not know what transpired. I have her statement," Javadekar said.
