Threat to blow up railway stations in Mumbai

Security has been beefed up in Mumbai on Wednesday after the Railway Police Force (RPF) received an anonymous call that some railway stations on the Western and Central lines and religious places here would be blown up.

The RPF received the call at 11.30 am with the threat toblow up the stations and religious places, following which they informed the city's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) about it, RPF sources said.

The threat was to blow up these installations before 4 pm, they added.
